Obviamente aún cometo bastantes errores, pero siempre voy mejorando: añadiendo sinónimos, aclarando dudas de tildes, hasta algunas pronunciaciones que uno cree como ciertas, cuando no lo son.

Grammar NaziCon esto también viene, por añadidura, un rechazo férreo al mal escribir. Tan férreo que, al saber de la existencia de una clasificación como Grammar Nazi, me acepté de esa forma. Dejando de lado lo político de la denominación, existe rechazo a ella porque hay usuarios que creen, y sienten, que escribir mal es una forma relajada de expresarse. Por supuesto es una decisión personal, aunque diría que muchos no lo piensan como decisión, es más un estilo o parte de una rebeldía lingüística que encuentro triste. Tal vez las raíces de esto están en la educación, otros dicen que es culpa del Messenger, aunque mi idea es que va más por el lado de la creación de una comprensión lógica del idioma, lo que de ser bien encaminada, generaría una noción sobre la importancia de ciertos símbolos en la calidad del mensaje.

Parte de la actitud de dejar de lado ciertos modales propios de nuestro idioma es olvidar los signos que deberían usarse al iniciar una exclamación o interrogación:

Con sorpresa he visto también ejemplos de esta mala práctica en productos comercializables y en publicidad en calle. O sea, la sociedad en general está frente a un mal uso de nuestro idioma, además, pensando que los que diseñan y generan las campañas de estos productos piensan en los consumidores al crear las afrentas al idioma originario de la península ibérica.

Como razones que apoyen, directa o indirectamente, la extición de estos caracteres, he encontrado:

  • Asimilación del inglés como modelo de expresión. Es decir, al no tener estos símbolos, se malentienden como innecesarios para nuestro idioma.
  • Rapidez al escribir. Con la lógica de “más velocidad” -> “mejor comunicación”, se entiende que escribir sin poner atención en los entendidos como “detalles” no dañará el mensaje.
  • Flojera. Basado en que el(los) interlocutor(es) entenderán el sentido sí o sí, no vale la pena tomarse el tiempo en aprender a escribir correctamente o usar las palabras como deberían ser.

Por supuesto podría seguir enumerando razones teóricas, pero con las nombradas creo que ya da para suficiente.

Parte de lo de ser talibán ortográfico va con la baja o nula tolerancia a las personas que creen una pérdida de tiempo el mejorar la forma escrita de su expresión. A ellos yo los pondría en una hoguera.
